We excavate to the right depth, lay and compact a stone sub-base, and set the edges before a single block goes down. That is the part a cheap job skips, and it is the reason a driveway sinks or ruts within a couple of winters. We fit block paving, resin-bound gravel and pattern-imprinted concrete, and we sort the falls and drainage so surface water runs away from the house rather than pooling against it.
